Mix a squeeze of lemon juice with 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil, and things should be running smoothly again quite soon.

Hair treatment or conditioner.

Olive oil is the perfect do-it-yourself home hair treatment. Gently heat 1/2 a cup of olive oil, take care not to boil it, though. Then apply the warm olive oil to your hair-warning do this in the bathtub or shower as it can get messy.

Lastly, cover your hair with plastic wrap and then wrap in a towel. After 45 minutes shampoo your hair and rinse.

Instead of buying furniture polish make your own! Simply mix 2 parts olive oil with 1 part lemon juice or white wine vinegar. Give the mixture a shake and your very own homemade furniture polish is ready to go.

For easy application, store the mixture in a clean, reusable spray bottle. Before each application, shake the mixture and spray it on the wooden furniture needing the polish. Leave for a minute or two and wipe off with a paper towel or clean cloth.
